One of the thousands of flowers dad caught on camera – a stunning sunflower or “Little Becka” as this variety is named.
Dad took this photo of a pretty pink peony in my front yard one summer. He and Mom would come over to watch their grandkids and Dad would spend the afternoon outside, photographing around my house.
Dad took this photo of a buckeye butterfly on one of his day trips with the Mayslake Nature Study and Photography Club from Oak Brook, IL.
Dad took this photo in the backyard of his good friend Larry Cole. His wife Lindalee raises gorgeous day lillies every summer.
Western anemone is found in far northwestern North America, including Glacier National Park in Montana. Dad and Jen visited there in 2017. It was his favorite national park.

Dad was a regular visitor to the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glenview, IL. He especially liked their annual orchid show where he photographed this beauty.
